Amy Schumer to make Broadway debut in Steve Martin play

LOS ANGELES (dpa) - US actress and comedian Amy Schumer will make her Broadway debut in a Steve Martin play, the Schubert Organization theatre company announced Monday.
The Emmy Award winner will star in "Meteor Shower," a show by actor, director and comedian Martin that is set to open in New York in November.

The play is a marital comedy about two couples who get together for dinner and star-gazing.
Writer and actress Schumer, known for "Dating Queen" and "Inside Amy Schumer," will lead a cast including Keegan-Michael Key, the co-creator and co-star of the acclaimed sketch series "Key and Peele," as well as Tony winner Laura Benanti and Alan Tudyk.
Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks is set to direct.
