No rocket fired at Israel from Sinai: Egyptian security

AL-ARISH- There were no rockets fired from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula into Israel on Thursday, Egyptian security officials said after an Israel TV channel said two might have been fired from there.
"We categorically deny any rocket fire from Sinai," an official said on condition of anonymity.
"Patrols found no rocket operation," said another, who also declined to be identified.

Israel's private Channel 10 television reported that two Katyusha rockets hit near Eilat, one of them in the Red Sea off the port city and the other exploding outside the nearby Jordanian city of Aqaba.
The channel said it was possible the rockets were launched from the Sinai.
