WASHINGTON- US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will hold separate meetings Friday with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas and Jordanian King Abdullah, her spokesman said.
State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told a press briefing Thursday that Clinton "will be meeting tomorrow with Palestinian Authority leader President Abbas."

"She will also have a one-on-one meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah, who is actually here on a private visit, but they'll have the opportunity to visit early tomorrow afternoon," he said.
Abbas is in Washington for talks with US officials, including President Barack Obama whom he met at the White House on Wednesday, on the stalled Middle East Peace process.
Long stalled efforts to forge Mideast peace have been further hampered by a deadly May 31 Israeli raid against an aid flotilla seeking to break the blockade on Gaza.
The United States has declined to directly condemn Israel for the attack, but Obama said after meeting Abbas Wednesday that the situation in Gaza, withering under the years-long blockade, was "unsustainable."
