Clinton urges young Mexicans to push reform

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday urged young Mexicans here to push for democratic reforms and fight corruption at this "critical" time in their history.
"It's particularly important for the young people in Mexico, who have enormous power right now, to strengthen your democracy, to call for more reforms, to shine a bright light on corruption wherever you might see it," Clinton said in a speech to university students here.

The State Department, in its latest country reports on narcotics, blamed official corruption as a major stumbling block to fighting the drug cartels who have plunged the country into bloodshed.
