New York (tca/dpa) - Washington has more to clean up than the name of its team.

The Washington Post reports that 15 women allege sexual harassment and verbal abuse by former employees of the Washington NFL team.

Larry Michael, the senior vice president of content for Washington who resigned from his position with the team this week, was accused of harassment by seven former employees. According to the Washington Post, Michael "routinely discussed the physical appearance of female colleagues in sexual and disparaging overtones."
According to the Washington Post, Michael resigned from the team just hours after the Post reached out to Washington for an interview request.
Alex Santos, the team's former director of pro personnel, was accused of harassment by six former employees and two reporters. That allegedly included groping Rhiannon Walker, a reporter for The Athletic, at the 2019 NFL combine and saying she had "an a-- like a wagon."
Nora Princiotti, now with The Ringer, also said that she was harassed by Santos in an interview with the Post.
"It felt like pretty much the worst thing in the world," Walker said. "He didn't care. He thought it was funny."
Princiotti's experience also echoed Walker's.
"He told me I had a great a-- for a little white girl," Princiotti said. "The general sentiment was that I should wear less clothing."
The Athletic said company lawyers spoke with Washington and that lawyers from the team claimed that Santos had been disciplined, but did not say what his punishment was.
Santos was fired this week, along with Richard Mann II. Mann II, the assistant director of pro personnel, was also named in the Post's report of alleged sexual harassment.
But it wasn't just current employees who were among the accused: Dennis Greene, the former president of business pperations, and Mitch Gershman, the former chief operating officer, are also facing sexual harassment allegations.
Santos did not make a comment with the post. Dan Snyder, the owner of the Washington NFL team, also declined to comment on the st
