LOS ANGELES- US actress Farrah Fawcett has been hospitalized in Los Angeles after a fresh setback in her three-year fight against cancer, it was reported Sunday.

The actress, best known for her recurring role in hit 1970s television show "Charlie's Angels" had undergone aggressive chemotherapy in the past and had seen the cancer go into remission before returning in May 2007.
The People report did not give any information about Fawcett's condition and a spokesperson for Fawcett could not be immediately reached for comment.
However Radaronline.com celebrity news website cited sources close to the star's family and friends as saying Fawcett was unconscious and that loved ones had gathered at the hospital where she was being treated.
The Radar report also said she recently returned from Germany where she had undergone experimental treatment using stem cells.
