Stuttgart (dpa) - Prosecutors in the south-western German city of Ulm charged five men and boys on Wednesday with the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl over two days.
The accused, aged between 14 and 26, are all of foreign background, from Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq respectively. Three are in custody, while two remain at large.
One of the accused had admitted the assault, which started on the evening of October 31, 2019, while the others had denied the allegations, the prosecutors said.
The men are alleged to have administered a knock-out drug to the girl in the expectation that she would resist their advances.
The prosecuting authorities believe that the girl was raped 10 times over the two days.
