JERUSALEM- The Israeli military said Sunday it would implement a series of measures to ease restrictions on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
The military said it had decided to open a road on which Palestinian traffic was currently banned, open a crossing near the city of Hebron to all Palestinians and remove some 60 additional roadblocks.

The statement called the moves "good will gestures" and said they would be implemented in the "near future."
No reasons were given for the decision, but they come as Israel and the Palestinians have embarked on US-mediated indirect peace talks.
The military said it would also ease entry restrictions for tourists visiting the city Bethlehem.
