Julia Roberts heads all-star romantic comedy

LOS ANGELES- Julia Roberts will play an army officer on leave from Iraq in an all-star romantic comedy also featuring Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Shirley MacLaine and Jennifer Garner, it was reported Tuesday.
Oscar-winner Roberts is one of several A-list stars for the film, titled "Valentine's Day," which follows the fortunes of several characters as they search for love in Los Angeles, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
MacLaine will play Roberts's mother, a retiree who reveals an affair to her husband while Oscar-nominee Hathaway will play an assistant at a Los Angeles talent agency dating a mailroom assistant.
The film is being produced by New Line studio, which enjoyed recent success with another ensemble romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You."
