WASHINGTON- US President Barack Obama left the White House Thursday on the way to Denmark to deliver a politically risky final pitch for his hometown Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid.
Obama was due to arrive in Copenhagen early on Friday to make the closing argument for the city's bid, before an International Olympic Committee final vote on the destiny of the 2016 Summer Games.
Chicago is competing against Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo for the right to host the global sporting extravaganza.
