Paris museum dreams up Concorde flight

PARIS (AFP) - The director of the Paris Museum of Air and Space admitted Tuesday making up an announcement about a new Concorde flight in June as an April Fool's hoax.
The hoax was designed to bring attention to plans to fly the supersonic plane again, Gerard Feldzer told AFP.

The museum is hoping to fly the Concorde again after it was taken out of service in 2003. A new flight would cost two million euros (2.6 million dollars), Feldzer said.
The museum's spokeswoman told AFP earlier that the Franco-British supersonic airliner would fly again for two hours in June. The fake announcement was also posted on its website.
