MOSCOW- Ukrainian playwright Anna Mashutina was killed in the Moscow airport bombing as she arrived in the Russian capital on her way to collect a prize, officials and colleagues said Tuesday.
Mashutina, 29, who wrote plays and scripts under the pen name of Anna Yablonskaya, was among the dead listed by the ministry of emergency situations in the blast carried out by a suicide bomber at Moscow's Domodedovo airport.

The mother of a three-year-old child had been on a flight from the Ukrainian city of Odessa to collect a prize from the Russian cinema magazine Isskustvo Kino (Art of Cinema).
"It's a tragedy. She was flying here for reasons of joy," said the editor of the magazine, Danil Dondurei, according to the Interfax news agency.
Mashutina was part of an increasingly dynamic young playwriting scene that has emerged in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine and had won prominence for plays such as "Pagans", "Somewhere and Around" and "Video Camera".
