LOS ANGELES (dpa) - A US rapper who once claimed God made him bulletproof has been fatally shot, Atlanta TV station WGCL reported on Monday.
Atlanta Police told the TV station that 28-year-old local rapper Jabriel Abdurrahman, known as "Yung Mazi", died in a shooting on Sunday.
Officials say they found the rapper dead at a pizza shop.
The TV station reports that the pizza shop is only a short distance from the police station and that officials heard the gunshots and went outside to investigate.
In December, Abdurrahman was shot at a Waffle House in Atlanta.
Just hours after that shooting he had tweeted: "God made me bulletproof," according to multiple media reports.
The tweet was later deleted from his account.
