Renowned Austrian actor Muliar dies at 89

VIENNA - Austrian stage and film actor Fritz Muliar, one of the most popular performers in the German-speaking world, has died at the age of 89, his entourage said Monday.
Born December 12, 1919, Muliar starred in Vienna's prestigious Burgtheater where he performed in plays by Shakespeare and German playwright Bertolt Brecht.
