RIYADH (AFP) - Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz is convalescing in Morocco after undergoing six weeks of medical tests in the United States, the official SPA news agency said on Saturday.
Prince Sultan, 81, who has served as the oil kingpin's defence minister since 1963, arrived in Agadir on Friday, the news agency said.

SPA did not specify the nature of the tests that Prince Sultan had undergone in New York but said the results had been "reassuring". It added, however, that he was expected to return to the United States for further treatment.
According to the Washington-based Saudi-US Relations Information Service, Saudi officials rejected reports on Thursday that the prince was deeply ill, insisting that he had a successful operation in New York, was "fine and will be heading home after his rest in Agadir."
