CEOs less popular than politicians: poll



Company bosses are less popular than bankers, lawyers or members of the US Congress, according to a survey published Wednesday by pollsters Rasmussen.
Some 73 percent of respondents said they had an unfavorable impression of CEOs, five percentage points higher than members of Congress.

The poll was carried out February 15 to 16 as controversy raged over huge executive pay packages in the midst of global economic chaos.
Journalists, stock brokers and financial analysts were also among the least respected.
Of nine professions listed, small business owners were the most popular, with a 92 percent considering them favorably.
