Icardi's wife's car hit by stone amid Inter tension

Rome – The car of Wanda Nara, the wife of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, has been hit by a stone as she was driving with her three children in Milan, the ANSA news agency reported Saturday.

The incident took place after Inter removed the team captaincy from Icardi as contract renewal talks between club and Nara, who acts as her husband's agent, have stalled for weeks.
Veteran goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was appointed captain Wednesday and Icardi reportedly decided not to play Thursday's Europa League game at Rapid Vienna, which Inter won 1-0.
The Argentinian striker also looks set to miss Sunday's home game against Sampdoria. He reportedly told coach Luciano Spalletti he has a knee injury.
