Argentina into Copa America quarter finals after 2-0 win over Qatar

Porto Alegre (dpa) - Argentina defeated Copa America guests Qatar 2-0 on Sunday to reach the tournament's quarter finals, while an already-qualified Colombia beat Paraguay 1-0 in the other Group B match.

Lautaro Martinez took advantage of a defensive mess to put the Albiceleste ahead in the fourth minute in Porto Alegre.
Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero then sealed the deal with a low cross-shot in the 82nd, giving Argentina a win at the third time of asking.
Colombia's Gustavo Cuellar squeezed a ball through goalkeeper Roberto Fernandez's legs from a tight angle in the 31st minute to give his side a win over Paraguay in Salvador.
The Cafeteros appeared to double their lead with Luis Diaz in the 69th but it was ruled out after the video assistant referee (VAR) spotted a handball.
Argentina will next face Venezuela on Friday in Rio de Janeiro's Maracana stadium, while Colombia, who topped Group B with three wins from three matches, will have to wait one more day to find out their next opponents.
