Motorcycling: Antonio Banderas presents new team

MADRID- Spanish actor Antonio Banderas on Monday officially unveiled his new Jack&Jones team that will compete in the new Moto2 championship, which will replace the 250cc category this year.
"I have always been a motorcycle fan and when this opportunity came up I did not hesitate for a moment. From the moment that they proposed this project, I liked it and I decided to get involved," he told reporters.

"I think it is very interesting and that for the category it will compete in, we will see the real qualities of the pilot," he added.
Banderas, who is said to own a number of bikes in his personal collection, has hired compatriot Joan Olive and American Kenny Noyes to pilot the team.
The 49-year-old is best known for his work in the early Pedro Almodovar films, and his subsequent Hollywood roles in the Spy Kids series and Shrek franchise, where he supplies the voice of Puss in Boots.
Qatar hosts the opening round of the 2010 world championship on April 11.
