Netflix commissions second season of first-ever German show 'Dark'



BERLIN (dpa)- Netflix has commission a second season of "Dark," its first-ever show to be produced in Germany, production company Wiedemann & Berg said on Wednesday.
The Berlin-headquartered company said that the streaming service had commissioned more episodes of "Dark" - online since December 1 - because the first season "was one of the most-watched non-English-language series on Netflix."

A family saga with a supernatural twist, "Dark" is about the disappearance of two young children in a German town.
The main characters are played by Louis Hofmann, Maja Schoene, Angela Winkler, Joerdis Triebel and Oliver Masucci.
