PM Hariri arrives in Lebanon two weeks after shock resignation

Beirut - Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has arrived in Beirut, two weeks after announcing his shock resignation in a televised addressed from Saudi Arabia.

He descended from his plane amid tight security and waved at journalists awaiting his arrival at the airport. He did not make a statement.
Hariri is scheduled to attend the official military parade to commemorate the 74th independence of Lebanon on Wednesday along with President Michel Aoun and other Lebanese leaders.
Aoun has not yet accepted Hariri's resignation.
Hariri had earlier held talks in Cairo with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi and in Cyprus with President Nicos Anastasiades.
