Ronaldo rejoins Juve after period in Portugal and quarantine

Rome (dpa) – Cristiano Ronaldo was back at the Juventus' training camp Tuesday, more than two months after leaving for Portugal when Serie A was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, Italian media reported.

The star striker left Turin after the Bianconeri beat visiting Inter Milan 2-0 at the empty Allianz Stadium on March 8.
Serie A was suspended the following day, with the reigning champions sitting top one point clear of Lazio with 12 matchdays left.
Ronaldo was back in Turin from his native island of Madeira on May 4; he has then spent a two-week quarantine at his villa on the hills overlooking the city.
He and his team-mates are training individually at the Continassa camp as the Lega Serie A awaits the green light for group training from the government. The clubs then hope to resume the season in mid-June.
