Trump calls Kim 'very talented man' who 'loves his country very much'

Singapore - US President Donald Trump praised North Korean leader Kim Jong Un after their summit on Tuesday, calling him "a very talented man" who "loves his country very much."

US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed an agreement in Singapore acknowledging progress in their talks on Pyongyang's nuclear weapons programme but did not immediately release any details about its content. Asked whether North Korea will denuclearize, Trump said: "We are starting that process very quickly."
"We are going to sign this historic agreement. The world will see a major change," Kim said.
"We are deciding to leave the past behind," the North Korean leader added.
US President Donald Trump said he would "absolutely" invite North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to the White House.  He made the comments after the two leaders signed a joint document at the end of the summit between the two leaders at Singapore's Capella Hotel.
He was asked by a reporter if he would invite Kim to the White House, to which Trump replied "Absolutely, I will."
It was not clear when an invitation could be issued.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's convoy has left Capella hotel in Singapore for his return flight to Pyongyang after historic meetings with US President Donald Trump. The US president remains in Singapore and plans to speak to media during a press conference about the "comprehensive" - but so far unreleased - agreement he has signed with Kim.
