Affleck, Costner to star in recession-themed flick



LOS ANGELES, (AFP) - Hollywood heavyweights Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones have starring roles in the first major movie about the current economic crisis, industry daily Variety reported Thursday.
"The Company Men" deals with the financial and emotional drama of a high-flying executive who gets downsized.



Affleck, Costner to star in recession-themed flick
The movie, set for release in 2010, is to be filmed in Boston, Massachusetts and directed by John Wells, who was the executive producer of the long-running US television series "The West Wing," according to Variety.
Affleck, Costner and Jones are all Academy Award winners.
Affleck, who won an Oscar for the script of "Good Will Hunting," which he wrote in in 1997 with his friend and fellow actor Matt Damon, plays a corporate golden boy who struggles after being sacked.
Costner, who earned two golden statuettes for his 1990 film "Dances with Wolves," plays his brother-in-law.
Jones, who earned an Oscar in 1994 for his role in "The Fugitive," plays an executive at the firm.
