Amy Winehouse burgled while on Caribbean holiday

LONDON (AFP) - Burglars broke into the home of troubled singer Amy Winehouse while she was on holiday in the Caribbean, police said Friday.
Guitars and recording equipment were stolen from the address in Camden, north London, Winehouse's spokesman said.

He said she was "disappointed" by the loss but "relieved" that she had taken her favourite guitar with her on holiday in St Lucia.
Police called to the address following reports of two men forcing their way into the property in the early hours of Thursday found the front door had been kicked in and property taken.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said that "a number" of the stolen items had been recovered.
He said: "The premises were secured and are now being forensically examined. The property was unoccupied."
The home of the 25-year-old "Back to Black" singer is often surrounded by photographers hoping for pictures of her wild lifestyle.
Winehouse has allegedly struggled with a drug habit but is said to be trying to clean up her act.
