"They have their own personality, but they don't have mine," she said on French radio station Europe 1.
She was responding to reports that US director Kyle Newman was planning to make a film about the French star and would cast his wife, the model and actress Jaime King, as Bardot.
"I don't agree to a film about me without me having been warned and without me agreeing on who will play my part," Bardot said.
"I have heard nothing about it and there is no question of doing anything about me without my agreement."
Bardot was recently played by her compatriot Laetitia Casta in a biographical film about another 1960s French icon, singer Serge Gainsbourg. Bardot told Europe 1 she had not seen that film.
