Rock patriarch Mick Jagger to become great-grandfather

LONDON- He may still be strutting about onstage giving his fans "Satisfaction" -- but at 70 the Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger is about to become a great-grandfather, his daughter confirmed Sunday.
The British singer's grand-daughter Assisi, 21, is due to give birth early in the new year, her mother Jade Jagger told the Sunday Times newspaper.

"It is true. I am going to be a grandmother," the 42-year-old socialite told the broadsheet.
The Rolling Stones marked their 50th anniversary last year with huge stadium shows in Britain and North America.
Despite all being old enough to collect their state pensions, they this week announced a fresh tour in Australia and New Zealand for 2014.
Jagger has seven children by four different mothers.
Jade is his only daughter with his first wife, the Nicaraguan model and human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger, who he wed in 1971 and divorced eight years later.
The baby will be Assisi's first child with her boyfriend Alex, a chef, the Sunday Times said.
