The works are "particularly representative of the Alba family heritage in its five centuries of history," said the minister of culture of the southern Andalucia region, Rosa Torres.
Among them are the two favorites of the Duchess of Alba: "Portrait of the Grand Duke of Alba" by 16th century Italian Renaissance painter Titian and "The Duchess of Alba in White", by Francisco de Goya, painted in 1795.
Other works are by Marc Chagall, Julio Romero de Torres and Jusepe de Ribera, and the exhibition also includes three sculptures by Mariano Benlliure.
It was the first time that works from the House of Alba collection have been on show since 1987, when they were exhibited in Madrid and Barcelona.
The exhibition lasts until January 10.
