Techno music fans turn out for Zurich rave party

ZURICH - Several hundred thousand techno music fans braved the rain Saturday to turn up at one of Europe's biggest rave parties, the Street Parade, in the Swiss city of Zurich, local media reported.
At around 1300 GMT, the so-called Love Mobiles -- or themed trucks carrying DJs playing a spectrum of electronic music -- began travelling through the crowd along the 2.4 kilometer route, Swiss news wire ATS and Zurich-based newspaper TagesAnzeiger said.
While the rain may have ruined some make-up and body paint, it did not appear to have dampened the mood.
